Our letter about the changes to routine GP appointments at our Forton Medical Centre site has now been posted. This should be with our Forton patients from today onwards (subject to Royal Mail posting times). It will also be available from all our reception desks.
As advised some weeks back, we are looking to move routine GP appointments and the GPs based at Forton Medical Centre to our other three surgery sites at Stoke Road Medical Centre, Waterside Medical Centre and Brune Medical Centre.
We have been working with our Patient Participation group (PPG) on this and there is much more information in the letter below.
If you have any feedback on our plans, please let us know via firstname.lastname@example.org or by using the feedback boxes based in the surgeries. We will open Forton Medical Centre on Saturday 21 April from 10-12noon, where you are welcome to come and meet members of the PPG and practice staff to raise any queries you may have.
Thank you for your continued feedback on the proposed changes to routine GP appointments at Forton Medical Centre. We’ve had some specific questions about repeat medication. We would like to reassure our patients that currently you will continue to be able to request your repeat medication and collect prescriptions at Forton as normal.
