IN AN EFFORT TO PROTECT OUR PATIENTS AND STAFF WE HAVE TAKEN THE DECISION TO RESTRICT ACCESS TO THE SURGERY IN LINE WITH NHS ENGLAND AND PUBLIC HEALTH GUIDANCE.
Your appointment will now be over the telephone rather than face to face. Please ensure we have an up to date contact number for you. The clinician will determine whether your appointment needs to be rescheduled, completed over the phone, or if you need to be seen. If it’s face to face you will be screened for coronavirus symptoms to assess the risk of you attending the surgery. YOU WILL BE ADVISED TO REMAIN OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING UNTIL THE NURSE/DOCTOR COMES TO GET YOU.
We ask that all patients request their repeat medication via Patient Access, the NHS App or email email@example.com.
Please ensure that you have nominated a chemist for us to send your prescription electronically. If you do not have access to a computer, please put your written request in the outside mailbox, again letting us know which chemist you want us to send this to. ANY SCRIPTS THAT WERE TO BE COLLECTED HAVE NOW BEEN SENT TO THE PHARMACY NEXT DOOR OR ACROSS THE ROAD.
If you are attending the surgery for a blood appointment, please go to the Dentist entry door at Brune or the Fire Exit door at Forton (which is the next door along). The Phlebotomist will come to the door at your appointment time and call you through. You will be screened for coronavirus symptoms to assess the risk of you attending the surgery.
If you have any cold or flu symptoms DO NOT ATTEND THE SURGERY. You are required to self-isolate for 14 days. If your symptoms worsen, please contact NHS 111 for further advice. More information is available on www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/
PLEASE TREAT OUR STAFF WITH COURTESY AND RESPECT DURING THIS CHALLENGING TIME.
