Self-care for Carers

The italk service is delighted to announce a new wellbeing class for unpaid carers, developed through engagement with local carers groups.

This short class aims to help carers to start thinking about their own wellbeing, and learn a simple technique for bringing balance into your life.

They’re not going to suggest you try to find more time for yourself, they know that isn’t always possible. Instead, they will explore how different activities affect our mood, and find opportunities to arrange those activities in the best way to give us a boost when we need it, and maintain our resilience.

It’s held online via a zoom meeting, and they’ll keep the session open for 30 minutes after the end, for anyone who’d like to stay and chat.

Self Care for Carers is available to book directly, without needing to be referred by your GP or have an assessment. Click the link below for more details and to book.

The surgery is closed for staff training.
